ICPET 2025 was held in Shanghai, China during July 4-7, 2025. this year is sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Beijing Jiaotong University, and North China Electric Power University, hosted by College of Smart Energy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Electronic Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, North China Electric Power University, co-sponsored by Energy Storage and Electrotechnics Department in China Electric Power Research Institute, IEEE IAS SJTU Student Branch Chapter, patrons with Tianjin University, Southeast University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University.
第七届电力与能源技术会议于7月4-7日在北京召开。此次会议采用线上线下相结合的方式召开。今年由上海交通大学、北京交通大学和华北电力大学主办，上海交通大学智能能源学院、北京交通大学电子工程学院、华北电力大学电气与电子工程学院承办，中国电力科学研究院储能与电工技术部、IEEE IAS上海交通大学学生分会协办，天津大学、东南大学、兰州交通大学赞助。汇集了来自上海交通大学、北京交通大学、华北电力大学、清华大学、四川大学、电子科技大学、西南交通大学、山东大学、重庆大学、武汉大学等众多高校近200名专家学者，一起参与到这场学术盛宴。历经4天，会议圆满落幕。

The conference began with opening remarks by Prof. Zheng Yan, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, followed by a welcome address from Prof. Sijie Chen, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Then, Prof. Yanbo Chen, North China Electric Power University delivered Program Address.

ICPET 2025 invited distinguished 4 Keynote Speakers, they were: Prof. Mao Yang, Northeast Electric Power University; Prof. Kai Ma, Yanshan University; Assoc. Prof. Haiwang Zhong, Tsinghua University; Prof. Can Wan, Zhejiang University.

Then 3 Best Student Paper Competitions, 16 parallel sessions, 5 poster sessions were held. Main discussed Artificial Intelligence Applications for Power System Stability Analysis and Control; Economic-Technical Research on Wind-Solar-Hydrogen-Cooling Energy System; The Electricity Market and the Utilization of Clean Energy; Transformers and Inverters; Smart Grid Control and Reliability Analysis, etc. 8 best papers, 3 best student papers, 16 oral presentations, 8 best poster presentations were selected after competition.
